Today, our school conducted its semesterly K-9 safety search as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all students. These routine, preventative measures are conducted in partnership with local law enforcement and are designed to promote safety, responsibility, and peace of mind across our campus.
We are grateful for the cooperation of our students and staff throughout the process, which allowed the search to be completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to instruction. Keeping our school safe is a shared responsibility, and we appreciate the continued support of our families as we work together to provide the best possible environment for learning and growth.
Thank you for partnering with us in keeping student safety a top priority.

Please take a moment to review the attached brochure regarding the SLPSB Bond Millage 2026. A millage proposal has not been passed in 40 years, and it represents an important opportunity to invest in the future of our schools and our students.
I encourage you to carefully review the information, understand how the funds will be allocated, and make an informed decision. Our children deserve safe, modern, and well-supported learning environments.
Election Day is May 16, 2026. Please make plans to vote and support the future of our students and our community.
Thank you,
