We kindly ask that you keep the messages appropriate, as we do not want them to witness any inappropriate language displayed in the yards. Let's ensure that the festivities remain orderly and understand the potential consequences of our actions. There is a fine line between fun and vandalism.
Thank you for your cooperation.

📣 Attention PBHS Students!
Homecoming Week is here at Port Barre High! 💛
Tradition is fun, but let’s be very clear:
✔️ You must have permission before decorating someone’s home.
✔️ Toilet paper ONLY—nothing else.
❌ No food, paint, or anything that damages property.
Remember—what should be a fun tradition can quickly turn into vandalism if you cross the line. Let’s show PRIDE in our school and community by keeping it safe, respectful, and drama-free.
Have fun, but don’t risk turning Homecoming memories into regrets.
Disclaimer:
Teachers, staff, and administration at Port Barre High School have not permitted students to decorate homes, businesses, or private property, and we do not endorse participation in these activities.
To ensure everyone enjoys our Homecoming traditions safely, any student who chooses to participate is solely responsible for the consequences of their actions.

If other grades can get to 95% next week they will also earn this reward.

Don't Accept Average
"It's so easy to be average. You know it as well as I know it...It takes a little something to be special. It takes a little something special to be a great player... We don't want to coach average. I don't want to be around you. Why be around average?" - Urban Meyer
We're wired to accept average. Average is comfortable - it's the path of least resistance. It asks for nothing extra, demands no sacrifice, and settles for "good enough." But average never wins championships, raises test scores, reaches their full potential, nor becomes what TRUE Red Devils aspire to be. It never inspires. It never leaves a legacy. Greatness requires something more. It asks you to stretch further, to demand more from yourself than circumstances demand, and to refuse to coast where others settle. To be great, you can't accept average habits, average effort, or average standards - not from yourself, not from your team, not from your classmates, not from your coworkers, not from your peers, not from anyone you want to build with. Average is easy. Greatness is hard. That's the point. It's supposed to be hard. The gap between average and great is closed in the little things. Schools, teams, teachers, and staff, along with players who accept average, never reach their potential. They live in excuses, not excellence. But those who refuse to be average create a standard that pulls everyone higher. They know greatness doesn't come by accident - it comes from refusing to lower the bar, day after day. Don't accept average. Not in yourself. Not in your teammates. Not in your culture. Not in your school. We Will Get Better. It’s a GREAT day to be a Red Devil!!!

The commitment, passion, and determination displayed by our principals ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed. Their hard work sets the tone for a positive and supportive learning environment across the entire district.
Please join us in extending our sincere appreciation to these dedicated individuals. We thank you for your commitment to our students!
