In Game 2 of the first round of the LHSAA Baseball State Playoffs, Port Barre delivered a complete performance—bats came alive, defense held strong, and the Red Devils took control.
Facing the Springfield High Bulldogs, Port Barre battled from the first pitch to the final out, showcasing grit, determination, and heart.

The Red Devils close out the series and punch their ticket to the SECOND ROUND.

SLPSB: ExxonMobil Career Exploration Camp for Middle School-Registration is NOW OPEN
ExxonMobil is sponsoring a Career Exploration Camp for grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Students registering MUST commit to the entire week of camp. Students must be currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in a St. Landry Parish public school. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided. This is a FREE CAMP!
Camp space is limited to 60 students per grade-level for each site. Sites are the Eunice Career Center, SLATS, and the Washington Career Extension Campus. Parents will be notified via email of acceptance or wait-list.
Students will explore Culinary Arts, Allied Health, and STEM!
Registration closes April 27th at 4:00 p.m.
Dates:
6th grade camp: June 22-25th
7th grade camp: June 29 - July 2nd
8th-grade camp: July 6 - 9th
Time: 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. daily (bus pick-up time will be sent once all applications are processed)
