We are super proud to announce our District Students of the Year. Introducing Braelynn O. (Arnaudville Middle), the 5th-grade District Student of the Year; Addisyn D. (MACA), the 8th-grade District Student of the Year; and Fajah G. (Eunice High School), the 12th-grade district student of the year. We want to congratulate them and wish them much success in the next phase of the competition!

You are invited to our Veteran's Program on November 21, 2024 at 9:00am. Washington Elementary is asking all veterans to attend if their schedule allows. Please submit a photo of anyone you know who has served in the military including yourself along with the branch and years of service. Looking forward to seeing you all there!!!

A notice of fees owed will be sent home with your child on November 20. If there are any discrepancies, please provide receipt of payment. Washington Elementary will be dismissing early tomorrow November 13 at 12PM. Car riders can be picked up at approximately 11:50AM.

Happy Parent & Family Engagement Month! This week, Mrs. Melody Robertson, parent of Washington Elementary, is being recognized! "Ms. Melody has been a faithful and devoted parent/guardian for well over 12 years."

The school is having a Blood Drive TODAY from 10:00am thru 1:30pm. A link will be sent out shortly for registration. IDs are required to donate. All donors who give blood will be entered for a chance to win a $5000 gift card.

Message from SLPSB:: Important Reminder: Election Day Closure - Please be advised that all schools and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in observance of the election. This closure is necessary as several of our schools will serve as polling locations.

Hello Washington Family. Parents you are to be commended for your attendance and support of last night’s OPEN HOUSE/PARENT NIGHT. Please be aware that the GPA on your child’s report card may not be correct. Although the grades are accurate, a new report card will need to be sent home with the correct information. Good afternoon Washington Family. It is our hope that this message finds you all doing well. We would like to share a few reminders. Thanks for your patience is ensuring our students adhere to the NO HOOD district policy. We do understand that supply may be limited and we will work with students on jacket color but please NO HOOD. Please ensure jackets are free from any obscenities or offensive markings. Also, we are asking that students who are being dropped off to be brought in before 8:00AM to ensure they do not miss any instructional time. In closing please have student attend school EVERY day as the current curriculum requires that students are privy to as much academic time as possible. A missed day of school is a missed day of learning. Thanks for all of your support as we transition into a great 2024-2025 school year!!!
