PBIS Rules and Expectations
There are three (3) VERY SIMPLE school-wide rules.
- BE RESPECTFUL 
- BE SAFE 
- BE RESPONSIBLE 
PBIS SCHOOL-WIDE BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS (the 3 B's)
The following behaviors apply to ALL areas of the school campus and school bus. 
I. BE RESPECTFUL
- Respect/listen to school personnel 
- Respect fellow classmates/peers 
- Keep hands to self 
- Respect other's property - Do not touch or steal the property of others 
- No teasing or bullying - Be helpful, kind, and friendly 
- Use clean/decent language 
- Respond to adults when addressed - be courteous to say...sir, ma'am, please, thank you 
- Have permission before leaving your seat/desk/chair/table 
- Be honest - No lying, no cheating 
- Report any problems to an adult 
II. BE SAFE
- Maintain low noise level - No yelling in classrooms or common areas 
- Be careful when using supplies/materials/classroom tools for projects 
- Walk to the right (like the rules of "driving a car...stay in your lane" 
- No running 
- No kicking, hitting, throwing (goes with "keep hands to self") 
- The following are NEVER to be brought on the bus or to school: - Drugs, including medication of any type 
- Tobacco or alcoholic beverages 
- Lighters, knives, guns, or any other device that can cause harm 
 
- Report any problems to an adult and use the BULLY BOX when applicable 
- If you have an accident, report it to the supervising adult IMMEDIATELY 
III. BE RESPONSIBLE
- Stay in designated areas 
- Follow the dress code 
- Take care of your school - Do not cut or deface school property/do not touch light switches/fire alarms 
- Leave non-related school items at home (toys, cards, games, cell phones, etc.) 
- Always report any problems to an adult!
