Fun Day 2024 Highlight!
Our students who met or exceeded their iReady typical growth targets got a special treat â they got to slime the principal! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the year!









Yesterday we Followed the Yellow Brick Road into the 2024-2025 School year, celebrating the achievements of our students in K-4!
Just like Dorothy and her friends, theyâve learned valuable lessons about bravery, kindness, and the importance of believing in themselves.
A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and wonderful staff for making this event so special. Together, we've shown that there truly is no place like Grand Coteau Elementary!

Yesterday, we celebrated our Pre-K graduates with a magical Wizard of Oz-themed awards ceremony! Our little ones have shown incredible courage, heart, and wisdom throughout the year, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements. Congratulations to all our graduates as they take their first steps on the yellow brick road to kindergarten!

Good Afternoon GCES!!! Fun Day 2024 is finally here. Here are a few important reminders before tomorrow:
1. Fun day is for students only. Only parents who have completed volunteer forms and been contacted by the school can attend.
2. Students are encouraged to:
Bring a water bottle and towel
Wear old tennis shoes due to the field being wet and color run
Wear comfortable athletic gear including hats and sunglasses (don't forget sunscreen the morning of)
CONCESSION: Please send money with the students as tickets sold on the morning of Fun Day.
