LBB after school tutoring will resume tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026. However, the after school tutoring bus will not run tomorrow (January 29th). You will need to provide transportation for your child. Please be at pick up by 5:00 PM. Thanks.

This decision was reached after consulting with the National Weather Service and the Office of Emergency Preparedness.
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. All after-school activities, practices, and school or district-related events scheduled for these days are also canceled.
We encourage everyone to stay indoors, keep warm, and stay safe for the duration of this winter weather event. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates regarding Wednesday’s schedule through our standard communication channels.

GCES students will celebrate the 100th day of school on Monday, January 26, 2026. Students may dress up as if they're 100 years old OR they may wear a 100th day shirt with uniform pants.

The Steve Carter Education Program provides $1,500 vouchers to families of eligible K-12 public school students per school year. These digital vouchers are used to purchase high-quality literacy and math tutoring.

👉Tutoring sessions must be held after school hours.

Report Card Information: students whose parents did not attend open house will receive their 2nd 9 weeks report cards today.
GCES Reminder: Report Card Open House is at 4:30-5:30 pm today. Parents/guardians, visit your child’s teachers' classrooms for report cards. The Parent Action Team meeting will be held in the cafeteria at 5:30 pm. Thanks.
